Client's Needs
As the developers and creators of Emerald Merge, our goal was to create a mobile game that would stand out in the competitive market. We wanted to build a game that was not only visually appealing but also provided an engaging, intuitive user experience. Additionally, we required a robust backend infrastructure that could scale as the game’s user base grew. We also needed tools to track player engagement and enable the integration of in-app purchases, ensuring long-term player retention.
Solution
To develop Emerald Merge, our team focused on delivering both a compelling game design and a smooth, dynamic user experience. We integrated rich graphics, seamless animations, and gameplay mechanics that are easy to learn but challenging to master. On the backend, we implemented scalable cloud infrastructure, allowing the game to support a growing number of players. Real-time analytics were integrated to track player behavior, helping us make data-driven decisions for future updates and gameplay improvements.
Challenges
One of the major challenges in developing Emerald Merge was ensuring the right balance between casual accessibility and long-term engagement. Creating a difficulty curve that felt rewarding for both new players and experienced ones required multiple iterations. As this was our first major mobile game project, fine-tuning the backend and scaling infrastructure also posed challenges. Collaborating with a publisher to ensure the game met industry standards and market expectations was crucial to the project’s success, and we worked diligently to address every challenge along the way.
