Client's Needs
Metaforra needed to create two engaging games that would appeal to a broad gaming audience. Futuructa required an easy-to-learn, challenging merge mechanic for casual gamers, while Quantum War needed to offer strategic depth and competitive gameplay for card game enthusiasts. Additionally, Metaforra needed a website to act as the central platform for the project, providing players with essential game information, news, and community engagement features.
Solution
We developed both games with a focus on accessibility and player enjoyment while ensuring seamless blockchain integration. Futuructa offers a straightforward but engaging merge mechanic that rewards strategic thinking, keeping players entertained with its progression system. Quantum War combines traditional card game elements with blockchain features, allowing players to build customized decks and engage in competitive online matches. The website serves as the information center for Metaforra, featuring game updates, player news, and community interaction tools.
Challenges
One of the primary challenges was ensuring that players unfamiliar with Web3 and blockchain technology could still enjoy the games and interact with the platform smoothly. We had to simplify the user experience without sacrificing the benefits of blockchain, ensuring players could easily engage with digital assets and track their progress. In Futuructa, we faced the challenge of maintaining the balance between casual gameplay and strategic depth, ensuring that the merge mechanics remained engaging without being overwhelming. With Quantum War, the challenge was in balancing card rarity and gameplay mechanics, making sure players could build competitive decks without disrupting the fairness of the game. The website had to provide clear, easily accessible information without being overly complex or intimidating to Web3 newcomers.
